The Carriage Stop Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to south
central Pennsylvania where our mid-1800 home offers superb hospitality in a
rural backdrop. As you take in the
magnificent detail of the original wooden pantry, you can envision the hustle
& bustle of the old general store which was operated out of our home during
the late 1800’s. Indulge in gracious
Country Victorian charm and elegance coupled with the best of today’s amenities
and comfort.
Each of
our four guestrooms have been appointed with hand selected antiques for your
pleasure. Pamper yourself in your private modern bathroom where you will
find plush towels, toiletries, and a hair dryer. Stretch out and relish
the exquisite detail of your décor while you relax in front of your flat screen
HD TV with complete cable package. We
offer free on-demand movies and WiFi. Each room is furnished with your own
refrigerator.
You are welcome to partake of our many common areas
including our dining area where you can treat yourself to free snacks &
fresh fruit, cool refreshments in the refrigerator, use of the microwave, or enjoy a hot beverage at our
coffee station. We also offer a spacious
living room where you may relax on soft plush furniture and watch TV on a 60”
LED HD TV. You will always find a puzzle in progress here, or choose one
of many board games, magazines, or books!
Weather permitting, take a dip or a slide into our seasonal 34,000
gallon heated in-ground swimming pool. Play cards in the well-lit, screened-in
gazebo. Relax in the sun on a lounge chair, or under the shade of our
huge Silver Maple. Stroll around 2 acres
of rural surroundings, and rest on the expansive front porch, beautiful outdoor
patio, or one of our strategically placed swings and benches.
If quiet
and relaxation is not on your agenda, then you will never get bored while
staying with us. We are conveniently located on State Route 743 just 2
